If something can be taken it will be, they should think about how not to be a central point of failure.

They store over 100MM petabytes of data and run on donations and feeding data to corporations like Amazon Alexa. They are the snapshot that you thought you had deleted but are the reality that "everything on the Internet is forever". But if sued out of existence... It's destruction of what was designed to be "the Alexandria Library" of the Internet.
No reason all of this still can't happen without a centralized data store, I've been following archive.org for a long time, I'm not sure how it can continue to function. Maybe AI companies should use it's data and make a case for it.
