it's actually surprisingly easy to learn.
just repeatedly count your fingers through the day
set your intention to lucid dream
count again before bed
set an intention to lucid dream as your last thought before sleep
after consistently doing this for a few days/weeks, it will come
you'll notice that in your dream you have 3, 4 or 6 fingers
and you'll know you're dreaming
don't try to control it too quickly, just learn to become conscious THAT you're dreaming
as you get better at that, you can start to actively control it
