It’s like not using spoons cuz you don’t know whether the first person who invented the spoon was a good guy or not. Except it doesn’t matter if the guy was good or not to use the tool, the tool still works, and just like a spoon you can inspect it yourself to know it doesn’t have a back door leaking the soup, or if your blind you can trust that someone with eyeballs looked at the spoon for you and verified it has no holes, so go ahead and use the tool to eat your soup.
