My sister in law is expecting baby in two weeks and we have lot of different opinion on pregnancy/birth.
She is mostly searching for what to buy (cute clothes, toys etc) and I am "information searcher".
She bought stroller for kid when she was 5 months pregnant, I am 7 months and still waiting for it to be deliver 😅 And she wrote me twice a week if I already bought it.
Now she has two weeks till delivery and I just find out that she don't know anything about start of labour (and she believes her gynecologist will tell her everything next week) and she also belives that she can stay at home alone immediately after birth. I don't want to be the one who shatters her dreams 🤯

Oft it's crazy that we can become grown ups and not know anything about how our bodies work. I hope the lack of preparation and awareness doesn't have a negative impact on her postpartum 💕
It honestly shocked me how little I know about pregnancy and birth and I worked in healthcare.
Wish it was something people shared more of. Wish I'd been able to listen to my mum and aunts talk about all of that stuff and normalise it during childhood and teen years.
I'm only 4 months now but I keep looking around the house and thinking we can just figure out most of it when he gets here. I'm brushing up on birth skills and breastfeeding. Do I even really need a stroller? 😆
I had the same question about stroller (and other stuff). 😅 I am like: I have boobs (so good will be provided) and we have big bed - what we need more.
I also feel like there is to little information about pregnancy (birth and menstruation) in general spaces.
