The time will come. I am working to figure out how to accept SATs for things I do. Even at a discount. That get people intrigued and I get what I really want.
Semi seriously, if you find a new job, once your established, ask if you can use their equipment to make seed phrases and offer to split the profits. If successful, either leave to setup your own facility, or they may invest in you to setup a division in the company. If very successful, work on the design, seed phrases are good, but there is room for improvement. The real money is in the IP, not the product. Invent a better seed phrase store from your experience. The market is small right now, but everything in Bitcoin is growing.
That’s a good idea I’ve considered this before 💯 I could just make a couple and see if they sell . And go from there I made my own seed plate at huskyvarna Haven’t stamped it yet, But the issue is like yea stamp seed is cool But expensive I could make a product similar but half the price….
I'd like to take this opportunity to ask if either of you know how those robot faces Samurai and seemingly NOSTR uses (as default profile) are created? I believe they reflect a public key, but seems could be used for private keys as well. I tried to search it a while back but was unsuccessful
My suggestion focus on quality and ease of use. People buy metal seed phrases to protect their generational wealth. Saving money is not a priority for this use case.
Not necessarily Because I’ve wanted to buy a stamp seed kit for years Just can’t justify it Too expensive for a piece of metal and a hammer It should be like 20 bucks Not 200 lol
Agreed, but also you're buying a metal one to survive harsh conditions that a paper backup won't. i.e. time, physical damage, fire etc... If there's a fire, a paper seed phrase won't survive, a good metal one should.
Yeah my plate is high temp stainless Got it for free at work It’s fucking scrap metal Let me rephrase It should be 21k sats for the kit Not 200k sats ….
