Focusing on form is best long-term.
Buildup will be slower, but results will be more significant, IMO

10 well done correct pushups are better than 100 half shit speed counting ones.
Few.
we're not focusing on increasing results though. we're focused on sticking to the challenge 😂.

Me, if I’m being honest. I shamed myself to do 200 today.

And 10 pushups done with hands raised from the ground after lowering is even better!
Amazing
Yes…. I was getting lectured in the group chat yesterday for doing my 100 as 60 and 40 in 3 minutes and 11 seconds.. *too fast* according to a few
I’m not trying to get the absolute most from each rep..I do other exercises too. I have perfect form, regardless of speed and I make sure my chest hits the ground, eyes up, and don’t lock my elbows on the way up. That’s as far as I’m taking it.
I’m banging out 100 for the culture and keeping it moving. 💪🫡🤝
I would tell anyone that thinks they can't do it that in boot camp we did sissy pushups on our knees to relax after getting smoked doing the regular ones. If someone can't do regular they can get on their knees and do 20 * 5 times or any small rep multiple times. Set a goal. Make it easy and then with the habit developed open up the challenge door.
Note your handicap. Get down and do it. Eventually you lose the knees and you start doing stiff board pushups.
It's all about being honest with yourself and pushing your envelope. The best thing about pushups is as you gain muscle mass you get heavier and you gain more muscle mass.

Fuck those guys 😂. Nostr is the group chat. Your 100 pushups are approved 🫡
💡

This is exactly the purpose.
Thanks for sharing the findings.
FUCK YEAH.

You know what, you guys are right…
I like the commitment of just going for it and getting it done at all costs, to remind yourself that you can. 💪🏽
