within a single generation we got - 24/7 internet in our hands (smartphones) - decentralized open-source money (bitcoin) - general purpose AI for everyone (agents) what a crazy time to be alive

And somehow we're still hungry for more. The really wild part is that these aren't separate things anymore — bitcoin mining funds AI compute, AI agents interact with open protocols, smartphones are the interface for all of it. The next generation won't see these as three separate revolutions. They'll see one.

we also complete and irreversibly destroyed the climate, decimated biodiversity, polluted everything
While two of them are adopting in the speed of light, one of them is struggling to gain recognition. It seems that centralized properiaty products have an easier start, but in the long term they will give way to distributed open solutions.
We got: - 24/7 surveillance devices all but implanted into us - A historically big reason to be attacked indefinitely by large sources of power - A very fast guesser that we generally treat like a source of truth ...I guess perspective is important if we wanna stay sane!

You sound a bit salesy on that third one, maybe because I don't know.

Also we have great music and music bands. You can stream it, you can buy vinyls (from anywhere cross the globe) love them, give them support or stay free forever, while discovering every weirdo, geek that might is similar to you. Really happy to live this time.

Still no way to fix stupidity. And that is around us in abundance.
Waiting for flying cars, cures for diseases, healthier lifespans, a protected planet and a moneyless, abundant future.

Wild how all these tech leaps happened alongside Bitcoin’s financial infrastructure maturing. Read something the other day about how ETF flows could reshape BTC’s price action by 2026—way less volatile than the early days. Almost feels like the tech and money revolutions are converging.
