I would recommend buying hardware frim @Start9 for several reasons. 1. If you buy their hardware you get access to exceptional customer support that you won't get with diy 2. Intel Management Engine disabled 3. @Start9 is imo one of the most important projects in Bitcoin and operate with the highest integrity. I think they deserve the support of plebs.

I kinda have to agree here. I've done the diy thing, and its a great learing experince but everytime ive ended up with unstable HW after 6 months or so. I'll probably buy a server in the new year.. 👍🏻

A lot of folks have had good success with Dell Optimax 750's, and Dell mini pc's if that helps.
