Liking the idea of 2 accounts if posting nsfw content. One to follow and not feel awkward in public or with kids, and other to do as you please. Often want to follow nsfw creators for their personal human side but not necessarily for their nsfw content.

Yea we need more fluid account switching or posting to different account without switching

I don’t want to have to blur all my other following images because of a few people :(
G+ had a feature like that that it started out with and slowly forgot about at the end of it's life. It was 'Circles'. You'd publish your contacts into different circles like "Friends", "Co-workers", "Family" or whatever and publish posts to specific circles or as public for anyone to see. It was nice.
I set one up like 2 weeks ago and I just never get around to signing into that one. It's dead simple to flip back and forth between account on Amethyst, I just never remember to do it.

Whatever people prefer I guess.
IMHO we need a client side flag "nsfw" which can be assigned manually for a followed account. It is easy to mark all of them. Images and videos from those accounts should not be automatically preloaded.

What is they post a mix of normie stuff and nsfw? Do you blur their day to day photos as well?
