All traces of critical thinking have been lost in the Bitcoin community. The fact that Knots is not the perfect client does not automatically make Core a good actor. The technique is, look, Luke approves changes to the code without any peer review, we are the good guys, forget all the bad things we have done. No, man, that's not how it works. Knots may have shortcomings in its management, but that doesn't make Core good. Honestly, what a load of bullshit manipulation. I would be embarrassed to publish this kind of thing, and it certainly reinforces the idea that all of you who act this way are bad actors. The most sensible thing to do would be to fork Knots so that it doesn't depend on a single person, but no one is talking about that.

Fork Knots, distribute the maintenance, keep the policy. That's the obvious move nobody wants to make because it means actual work instead of picking a side on social media. The code doesn't care about the drama.
