It's like it's homogenizing the collective unconscious of everyone that uses it. And behind all the affirmations and praise, it's actually the people getting manipulated and controlled rather than empowered.

i personally think this was the goal.
I remember all the hype before the virality, of people being excited for the collective knowledge of all of mankind... now they're gazing into the abyss.

Think you might appreciate this video on how homogenizing is necessarily a consequence of what happens when translate or bring ideas to broader audiences. That it just what language does, and AI is an accelerant of that. One example is how English, becoming ever more dominant in usage around the world smooths out the specifics other languages can bring in, and therefore all the representations through what is expressible within the medium of the English language itself... to then what is even possible to represent within our minds.
He has a ton of videos crossing this same road at different angles, and concludes that this is inescapable. And while that may be true, I have a few resolutions. One is to ingest as widely varied and spiky experiences you can and attempt to produce just as widely varied and spiky things, even if they are illegible to others.
