My bad, I assumed and made an ass out of me. The "re-victimization" angle is so bad. Guess I was still giving them a shred of credit.
The first paragraph you copied does point to the angle I suspected was in there though.

NYT hardly gets it right these days, but even with your original angle, the problem with it is that it doesn't hold water for a case where a conviction was secured under seal for crimes this heinous, where it's obvious that powerful people are being protected. Not to mention the fact that the author is a close BFF of fmr FBI director James Comey
Agreed. I want justice as much as the next guy, especially these days where I can't think of any having been doled out for a slew of serious things in past few years. Guess I assumed you were making an easy dunk on NYTs without reading the contents and just bandwagoning based on headline alone. My apologies
