Yeah I was looking at those. But I sort of don't know what I'm looking at lol. There are so many options, you might get a bad vendor, or no warranty etc etc. I think I would need to do too much searching, setting up alerts, haggling on price and general faff to get it. My life is extremely tedious as it is without adding this extra task. I think brand new is the way for me personally. But this is a ymmv scenario

It got a bit worse now since everyone started swaping put ssds for smaller ones and everything has less ram all of the sudden, but generally known reputable providers who refurbish fleets of large companies tend to be ok, tho my exp is all from europe
The last one I got had no SSD. Thats pretty common for resellers nowadays. Good price on the machine, had to order an SSD because it was M.2 only and I only have 2.5" drives, 256GB for what I got 2TB for a year ago, and I'm so not used to such a small amount of drive space anymore. I never would've thought I'd be budgeting storage again.
