I mean that not engaging with people on your notes goes against being your own algorithm. Though I guess someone could argue that that's how they're being their own algorithm and theirs is different from what I've been saying 😂😂
I guess it's fair to ignore effortless answers, but I've seen numerous examples of people putting time and effort responding and the OP completely ignores them

Is there engagement farming if theres no algorithm to game? A note with tons of responses doesn’t get pushed anywhere its not going to be anyways
Sometimes I don’t realize or don’t see a response for days or until I go back to the note and click replies (notifications not working 100%)
Sometimes I just have a question and want an answer, not a discussion. If it's a serious question, I'll zap good answers. I don't see anything wrong with that
Right now there are almost no algorithms. So there’s not really anything to game. Eventually there will be so many different algorithms that it’ll be impossible to game all, or even most of them at once. In the end the effect is the same lack of reward.
It’s working as designed.
Sometimes I wonder if they're purposely aloof or if they don't understand their relay setup (like they're using mutiny plus one relay type thing).. the mysteries of nostr 🦜
