Musk predicts a future where AI robots will outnumber humans and meet all their needs. Larry Fink (BlackRock): How will humans find purpose in that scenario? Elon Musk: “Well, nothing is perfect. You can't have both.” Wow, in one sentence he has summed up all the ideas of the Unabomber. The Unabomber has become the greatest intellectual of the last 120 years.

Humans needs, wants, and desires can't be "completed". AI robots might be able to meet a set of our current needs but we, as human beings seeking more pleasure, will expect more once they are met and a new set of needs, wants, and desires will open up. Humans will have a purpose - something to strive for, even if the AI robots are really productive. Few people live with a purpose today not because of technological progress but because they made the hard decision to live by their own values. To live according to one's own values is what makes life purposeful but most lack the cojones and the mind to do so. Purposeful humans will always exist, regardless of technological innovations, as long as the choice to act rationally and courageously is made.
Difficult predicting the future is. Could any "expert" or rich dude have predicted how the horseless carriage would play out? Why get excited about mere prognostications?
Humans are not supposed to be without struggle. Abundance for all will turn the planet into hellscape while the population ramps up degeneracy to fill the void of purpose.

I completely disagree, your statement sounds like fiat stockholm syndrome. I would argue it will unlock the best characteristics of humanity. So many people are prevented from participating in society the way that best suits their character because they are stuck living day to day. Abundance, doesn't destroy humans lives, it will highlight what really matters to them. If you get everything you need without struggle you will physically or psychologically travel to the frontier in search of struggle, pushing us forward as a species. For some people the frontier will be very close to home, if you're the type of person that would overdose on abundance, this is what will be brought into focus for your struggle. But most will simply be set free to choose. (If you want to help animals do it, if you want to build sand castles on mars do it) Human want is limitless, if you have everything need you will find a way to want more! Bitcoin will unlock abundance, abundance is another the way of saying unfettered free market. Abundance does not mean the removal of struggle, it means bringing which struggle that matters to the individual into focus. Why would anyone ever fight increasing the individuals agency? Many people fall into the trap, more jobs more better. We do not want more jobs we want more productivity, we want more freedom of choice for the individual.

I guess the only way to find purpose is cutting your lawn by hand with scissors? It's ridiculous, lawnmowers stole our purpose!

Exactly! People are afraid of change, even if it's for their own good.
