Season 5 was particularly crazy because David Chase brought in a fresh director for every episode. Made it really interesting visually.

Well it just kind of ended, with them all eating in that diner🤷🏻♂️😂. I hope he's dead, he's a very very very bad man. They all were. The whole show was just eating, fucking, lying, murder and funerals😂. It was enjoyable though but I still prefer Breaking Bad. I think I'll try @YODL's suggestion of The Wire next.

I go back and forth about the ending. Yes they’re eating at the diner but the camera stops on a few guys entering the diner. Just like in scenes where there used to be a shootout. After watching it the first time I thought he was still alive. Now I go between they’re all dead or it’s left undecided on purpose
I was more concerned about Meadows lack of skill in her reverse parallel parking and scratching the wheels on her new Lexus😬😂.
I think that was there partly to add suspense/tension 😂
As you say though, I think the writers ended it that way just so the viewers could draw their own conclusions🙏🏻.
