I did my first surfing lesson in El Tunco today. It was great but I think I need a different board. These big ones are hard to steer.
Any advice?

Very hard to tell. General advice is to spend some time on the bigger ones that are much more forgiving when it comes to stability and also easier to paddle on. So you get your fundamentals first. But maybe you're a prodigy that will rip like a pro from the start 😎
