Guess my node is staying on. 2TB HDD for awhile then.
For what it's worth the SSS helps more with IBD but for most of a node's life I don't see the reason to pay up for SSD anyway.
Fully sold out is major incentive to produce a lot more and at falling prices eventually.
Truth, but "eventually" can be a long time, especially in an industry with mind-boggling CAPEX, long lead times and pervasive government interference :(
I’m fully expecting to see gangs like the Hell’s Angels begin to knock over data centers to get RAM, SSDs, and video cards to sell on the black market. 🤪
