Technitium is better than any of those. Local self hosted DNS but it uses secure connections for recursive requests instead of plaintext like pihole or adguard. It also does clustering dead simple so you can run multiple instances easily.

Just found it and switched myself. Faster than my old pi-hole on the same hardware too but both are too fast for human observation.
