It was all bad, for sure. If you read some of the extra bibilical stuff, it lines up with a lot of the oldest versions of mythologies about "gods" taking human wives in exchange for teaching the leaders of the tribes of the time various things, but interestingly, all the things that they offered were directly related to mitigating the parts of the curse that God placed on everything.
