Bitcoin is considered an American asset class, by some. They "bought" it with USA ETFs, so when they divest from the USA, they sell their shares of those ETFs, along with anything else dollar-based.

I’d say it’s a British asset class since white paper was written in British English.
And captured a British newspaper headline in the genesis block
