It's so ridiculous of them to think they can police even non-citizens of theirs in other countries. Why not just block Gab's domain, or ISPs in the country from connecting to them (like the Great Firewall of China or Iran does)? Or would that make their heavy-handed censorship too apparent?
Europe doing it too (digital services act) , it unilateral.
I wonder if laws and demands like these will lead more users, and even companies like Gab, to Nostr, so they can't be made to comply with censorship requests? 🤔

In their arrogance and paranoia politicians fail to realize how destructive behaviour/a law like this is to society. It will cripple debate, cripple companies and just put a general break on the flow of society. And for what exactly?
I'm pretty sure energy will flow where it needs to and cannot be stopped by some flawed bureaucracy.
Well, they did that without a problem to sites likes rt.com. I guess with all the thunder of their wardrums, they think they can get away with straight censorship in such a case. They will grow bolder soon I bet.
