i'm making a super simple moderation system for my realy that just uses my mute/follow list... follows are permitted to publish after auth and mutes are refused read access as well as publish, but those not on either list but found on the follows of my follows are allowed to send events that tag them for DMs except only 3 until they are added to the follows follow yes, it is a bit complicated but it doesn't require new UI to implement this kind of simple white/blacklist plus in/outbox haha i meant to actually do it today and spent most of the day playing games and shitposting lol
