People say vibing makes you stupid but I’ve learned so much in the last year or so just by playing around. Areas I would have never encountered had I not vibe coded. Knowledge so deep I wouldn’t understand it if was reading it in a book, but makes sense hands on.

Same.
I started building the things I needed and accidentally learned a ridiculous amount along the way.
Yeah, it really helps when you get an explanation about something, instead of just, do this to get it to work.
It is definittely a greatt way to learn
Relying on it is what actually gives people the brainrot.
100% agreed. It has helped me a lot into the process of learning frontend development. Simply gaining the knowledge and understanding easier through the action, the process of learning from experience. If you have questions, you don't have to bother your friends every few minutes and can get precise answers that are largely accurate. Great tool for learning and growing, as well as confidence to try new things completely out of your comfort zone.
The greeks have multiple words for knowledge, and one that especially refer to this:
"episteme" (ἐπιστήμη), which refers to knowledge gained through experience and reason
I agree, but the flip side I observed is that I remember vibe code "lessons" much less well than those I learned struggling the old fashioned way.
