I think this is about either presentation or condition? If it's knowing how it was stored that impacts the perceived value, that's presentation (you want it presented with evidence of good storage) Otherwise it's the impact of the storage on its condition that matters If it's sorta both, there might not be a specific word for that

Its not so much about for buying or transactional functions but rather perception and individual valuation. It's the same object but its value is perceived differently based on how it's treated. It can also be observed in relationships for example. Depending on how a husband treats the wife, the wife herself feels more valuable and others see her as having more value based on how she is being taken care of. I don't know if this helps to explain myself better?
