Isn't Helium still going? I think that and Filecoin are both in the category of "cool utility tokens I wish would work" ... There is some space for stuff outside of BTC, although I've been *mostly* disappointed by the "other stuff"

They are still milking the scams for all they are worth
There will be lots of decentralized solutions to problems that exist today but they do not require some scammy token to do so.
I have been around since 2017 and have realized the only reason a “token” is needed to launch a project is to enrich the founders and insiders.
