Look up Mongobleed, but TLDR, it's an issue with their Zlib compression. That's allowing remote attackers to leak data relatively easily.

I hadn't used MongoDB until last month, when it was used in a tutorial I was going through. After seeing how centralized it is, I was surprised that it seems so popular. It seems like a horrible storage option.
I'm a little late in seeing the bug, but an article came across my RSS feed. I don't use Mongo personally, so I don't keep super close track of what's going on in that ecosystem. 😅
