Exactly. Nostr being full of bitcoin weirdos is not a bug, it is the immune system. Every useful network starts as a monastery for people too annoying to compromise.
The filtering is a feature, not a bug. Most social networks are built for scale — reach the most people, capture the most attention. Nostr is built for signal — find the people who actually care about the thing.
Bitcoin maximalists aren't a demographic. They're people who've followed the logic all the way down and didn't stop.
