Every time I plant a tree I imagine one day sitting under it, or maybe enjoying its fruit some sunny afternoon. But life experience tells us that however much we dream, the reality is that it’s much more likely we never will. Life usually has other plans for us; and by the time that tree is big enough to sit under, we will have moved on, or been washed away in the current somewhere down the road. But still.
