Aside from saving in bitcoin, I don't really know of good way to protect oneself for what is coming. I have a friend who is considering a position move at her company because she thinks it will be more resilient to AI. But what do any of us really know how this is going to play out, and what positions are safe. I work as a software developer. I have to use AI tools in my day to day work now. I know a lot of people are loving vibe coding... But what I love about coding is what is being taken away. I hope that I'm safe at my current company for a few more years, save everything I can in Bitcoin and maybe see what I do next. Who knows what the future holds. It's more uncertain than it's ever been.
