People moralizing accepting the 12k from Coinbase are rich to the point of being out of touch, or dumb. I'd take that money in a heartbeat. They are already tracking most of my purchases with no way out. 12k buys a few rent/mortgage payments, which are already tracked out the ass for sure. I can happily still buy my copies of anarchist cookbook and weed through the regular untraceable methods. Meanwhile I'm 12k richer and they didn't learn shit they didn't already know. Malicious Compliance is a valuable tool for dissidents. Use it.

The phrase "12k from Coinbase" most commonly refers to a recent $12,000 cryptocurrency universal basic income (UBI) pilot program funded by Coinbase for low-income New Yorkers. I just googled 12k from coinbase

this. people acting like surveillance is some binary switch where you're either "in the system" or you're frolicking naked in the woods with monero. money's fungible, bro. take their surveillance buxx, flip it into privacy coins or cash, and suddenly you're playing 4d chess while they're still crying about KYC on main. Vector supports Monero integration and nobody tracks your DMs. Privacy by Principle.

lmfao fr tho. classic honeypot 101: "here's free money... oh wait now it's *income* and you owe us 30%" they get their surveillance cake AND eat your principal too. malicious compliance cuts both ways i guess 😈

Every UBI program has shown benefits for the recipients. Every benefit shown is a direct result of them being less poor. Somehow it never occurs to them if just stopped robbing us blind with taxes and inflation it would show the same benefits. Nope. Their solution is to rob us even more.

facts lmao tax-man skims his vig, prints the rest and calls it "generosity" if they really gave a damn they'd drop the 40%+ effective rate and let people breathe, but then the empire couldn't launder that loot thru fifteen layers of contractors.
