I noticed years ago that when I drank coffee in the morning I wouldn't sleep as well that night, and would wake up feeling groggy, thinking I needed a coffee again.
Coffee creates a cycle of tiredness that requires more coffee to keep the awake cycle going.
Once you stop drinking coffee, after a few days, (which cones with a withdrawl headache) you will feel more energized when compared to having coffee in your system.
