He was getting hundreds of tweets at the end of 2020 requesting pardons for Assange, Ross and Snowden. He could have stuck it to the deep state, he chose instead to let out some rappers. This time around I would assume he is less fearful of the deep state because they have tried everything on him (assassination?) I am hopeful he might be a bit more sympathetic to Ross this go around. Also, why would he want to alienate a group that will only be gaining more power and influence over the next four years.
