Old school way I carried a buck long before thumb studs. Can you flick it open by forcefully flicking your wrist? My current Carry is on Buck 110 LT with an aftermarket thumb stud. I carry it in this custom pouch in my back pocket.

Especially if you're holding your apple 🍎 in the other hand 😂😂
