What if people never wake up, or never do so sufficiently? What if our lifespans are simply too short, partly because of the toxic sludge, and we mostly die before we can figure it out, and we're just constantly replaced by new young idiots?

This is a likely outcome if we don’t fight against this on every front. There is a small window that is closing now that if we don’t protect our ability to freely and openly state that which exploits us, and actively organize to resist it, we will get lost in the brave new world that will numb and dumb us down to little more than cogs in a machine.
Bitcoin is hope
