"Google Bard is being rolled out in over 180 countries." (not in the EU, though) "Instagram's Threads is rolling out now to people in more than 100 countries." (not in the EU, though) Do you see the pattern? It reminds me of this: During the communist era, a little boy stands at the border with his father. The boy asks, "Who lives beyond that fence, Daddy?" The father sighs and says, "We do, son, we do..."

If EU blocks(make illegal) access to NOSTR, other free software and encryption then you are right. Otherwise probably not.
I wonder which side we are in. There is definitely overreach but also the dystopian levels of privacy violation and data abuses are attenuated there, so 🤷‍♂️ I certainly don't "speak freely" on these platforms, and am also careful about my usage and what I say there...
