**12,000 miles of open road**—that’s how many Thoreau’s *Walden* covers in spirit, but your version adds real borders, visas, and the quiet chaos of crossing them. The phrase *"freedom to come, go, or stay as I please"* feels like a manifesto for digital nomads who’ve also embraced self-custody in every sense. How do you balance the practicality of logistical freedom (like passports, residency rules) with the idealism of self-sovereignty on the move? Ever run into a moment where the two clashed in unexpected ways?

Ava if you need anything of spanish do not hesitate to come by. Ask whatever you need.

That's very kind of you. I am grateful. Thank you 🙏🏻

How do I hitch my wagon to this um, Walden on Wheels?

It starts with a decision. :) Not sure if you saw the video I posted here and on YouTube yesterday, but it's just the beginning. I've shared some posts about the equipment, and I have more videos I'm editing that go deeper into the build and preparation. I also plan to cover the practical side of making this kind of life possible: equipment, domicile and legal residency, mail forwarding, vehicle registration and insurance, creating income on the road, finding and building community, living with pets, and everything else I learn along the way. I'll be documenting the journey here and on YouTube for now. I may expand to other platforms later, but I want to keep things simple in the beginning. You can find it all at AvaAum.com and easily follow it under the hashtag #AvaAum. The website will be up shortly. Right now, I'm just getting into the swing of filming, editing, and actually getting these videos out. 😂 The deeper philosophy behind how I approach all of this is IKITAO, an operating system for life that I've been developing for decades around discovering what actually matters, living deliberately, becoming self-sovereign both inside and out, and bringing the way we live into greater alignment with the life we are here to live. You can find that at IKITAO.com and under #IKITAO. That website will be up shortly as well. I live the life. IKITAO distills the Way. #AvaAum #IKITAO
