The "muh security is hard" crowd has kid gloves on. To recap @N : 1. Made a fortune off both bitcoin the (open source protocol based asset) and selling hardware for accessing said protocol 2. Defamed Foundation for forking off his open source product and trying to improve upon it 3. Verbally accosted and alienated security engineers trying to access and audit the cold card for vulnerabilities such as the one that just occurred 4. Sits on the board of Opensats and restricts funding to alternatives to cold card 5. relentlessly talks shit about basically every product Meanwhile he's not tending to his own house. The most basic QA should have revealed this vulnerability. This is truly amateur hour shit. My only regret is that like a drunk driver, he will have committed financial homicide against people that did no wrong. The buck passing (picrel) is so childish I wouldn't expect it of my 7 year old let alone an executive. I hope he and Cold Card get sued into oblivion. One thing is for certain: he should shut the fuck up forever. Lastly, make sure you thank your favorite podcaster for confidently shilling you a product that could've lost you your life savings. Hey @ODELL maybe your boy Rodolfo and the rest of your crew should take your own advice and stay humble.

Yup. "The most basic Q&A" is right. People acting like this was some slick hack that only a hyper advanced AI could possibly have... No bitch they were calling the PRNG instead of the TRNG 😮‍💨

Have said it already: relying on pseudo-random software code for randomness is not a mistake that’s reasonably attributable to human error for people operating at this level; this was done on purpose, and it’s superlatively regarded to give Coinkite the benefit of the doubt. Also, can anyone find a picture or video of this fucking Peter Gray guy?

Either that or it is a deliberate insider attack against bitcoin.
