Or you can think that it was high when it was 20 instead of 1, or 1000 instead of 20, or 20000 instead of 4000. The fact is that we never know where it will end. What we know is that after each storm BTC rises stronger with new type of believers... The more you study BTC, the less you care about price and ignore putting adjectives like cheap or expensive. Like ripples in a tide.
If you think about it, its all relative. Many of us started at the top of the market and price seemed very high to us. Today everything under $1M per coin seems underpriced to me. You get 1415 sats per dollar today, thats a lot of sats!
I think you're running in circles and over thinking this. I used to be broke, and now I'm not. I followed a pretty simple strategy. -Stop using credit (digging a deeper hole) -Create a budget monthly and follow it -Gain skills and increase income -Store excess wealth in Bitcoin. That's all I did, and I'm now pretty well off. I grew up with parents who were "poor" and broke the cycle by essentially doing the opposite of what they did. I instead read a lot of books written by people who were wealthy and did some of what they told me to do. Like magic, I'm now a lot wealthier than I was. I started buying Bitcoin at the ATH and continued on the way down and still do now. My strategy is to not even look at the fiat price. I just put the extra fiat in on schedule every month, and after averaging out, I'm pretty much always winning these days. The absolute top thing I did was stop taking money advice from people who have none. Like clockwork, I usually get responses on comments like this from people who are broke telling me how wrong I am. I've been so broke I slept in beat down car. I lived on Ramen to the point that I got sick. All of that changed when I simply stopped thinking and started doing. Obviously, situations are relative. Someone who lives in North Korea lives under a gun. You can't do much in that situation. But if you're broke in a western country then it's pretty likely that you're not listening to the right people. I know all of the excuses because I grew up hearing them and using them. It's easier than it has ever been to improve your financial state for most of us. People starting out (they're starting at a lower price than I did inflation adjusted) should stop buying into the poor mindset. That's why they think the price is high. Looking at it from a growth mindset immediately makes it clear that 70k in fiat is still laughably cheap. Instead, most will look back at 1M+ and complain about not buying at 70k. Rinse and repeat, never getting the real problem. Little psychological strategies will never compensate for a broken mentality. One must face head on reality and do as much as possible to change it for the better. I'm not Bill Gates, but I'm a hell of a lot better off than I was before I started living this way. Do whatever you want with this. It's not directed at anyone in particular and it's working for me, so I don't really care if anyone disagrees. It isn't a debate either. You do you.
I was waiting for the scam-coin pitch at the end of this non sequitur, but it didn't come. Expectations exceeded. I've never met a rich person who followed self-help book wisdom like in your post. They don't need to, society is set up to catch them and give them another shot. They have family connections to get out of trouble and land a better job. Rich parents know what irresponsible narcissists they have raised, that's why Trusts are a thing, and why Probate lawyers are never out of work. Self-help book wisdom is extremely, tediously middle-class. That's why it can work for poor people who stop being socially dependent on other poor people. Sometimes they even become middle-class. But here's the thing - bitcoin itself is tediously middle-class. No one in this thread asked for a self-help book blurb complete with eating ramen, because we're all tediously middle-class already.
Yes, the first part was directed at you because you're the one who made me think of this topic and it's your post. The end became far more general and may not apply to you so I stated that. I have no reason to cover my ass. I don't care if you or anyone else take anything from my thoughts or not. It doesn't change my reality. I'm good financially and just wanted to share what's worked for me in case someone can benefit. Try it or don't. I don't care. And calling out my sex in place of my actual thoughts is weak as fuck. Funny enough, I actually learned a lot about good financial health from my wife who was far better with money when we met. Nice try though. Peace.
You literally read nothing I've written and just jumped in and vomited up a wall of text that added no information to derail the convo, while pretending like you were disagreeing with me to start a fight and then you pretended like you weren't pretending. Lame sophistry is lame.
All the sats in the world can’t replace intellect (which will evolve over time into wisdom), instincts, wit and charisma…l’m trying to think if I’ve met anybody like that on nostr😉 That person will have success and happiness in life (real wealth)…esp as time tempers and replaces the brash confidence of youth with the wisdom, patience and forgiveness of experience… The sats will follow Just sayin🌅
