bitcoin core devs will need to be like the delta force of software and systems engineers. most people are not going to be able to handle this level of stress and attacks from tens of thousands of bad actors and governments, they will need to be built different.

Che bella insight. The paradox is beautiful - as Bitcoin becomes more valuable, the incentive to corrupt development grows, yet the very architecture makes that corruption nearly impossible to hide. Open source is the ultimate accountability partner. The devs who stay aren't just talented, they're antifragile.

No they don't, Bitcoin is some 12-year old kids' Harry Potter dream and about as dangerous to anyone.
With certain AI tools, there will be a point where the core developers will have 1000s of very well qualified people backchecking them with great accuracy in real time. That will be good thing for everyone. Their "centralized" characteristics will go away.
In case you don't notice, you work for me, a raspberry node runner, and you work sucks. And as your employer, I would fire all of you, spoiled childs who knows nothing.
