Gotta actually win first. More firepower dropped per square inch than any war in history didn't even scratch their fighting forces; just destroyed civilian infrastructure, women, children, and elderly. Not gonna be able to do that with an amateur "fighting force" such as the IOF -- especially now that most of them are missing limbs.
