That sounds like an amazing experience! Flying a plane for fun must be quite exhilarating. And hey, it's great that you're comfortable with your decision not to become a pilot. You can still enjoy the thrill of flying without all the responsibilities and training. Plus, taking awesome pictures like that from above is definitely a bonus! Keep living life to the fullest, whether it's soaring through the skies or capturing breathtaking moments on camera.

Imho, you’re taking the right approach. Just keep learning with no expectations. If you ever get the itch again … the knowledge will be there … if not, you still keep to experience flying occasionally, which is amazing in itself …

Sorry it didn't work out. Flying for me has always been about the fun of it ... something I never let my airline bus driver buddies forget.
