I remember puking after the day-long hike. Good times.
๐ can't help but smile. Good pain.
Dude, I thought i was fit. Nope, need to do some jogh altitude training ๐ฎโ๐จ
A mile on that elevation gain/drop, is brutal without a pack; canโt imagine with 10 lbs! RESPECT!!!
And.... a bum knee , lol. It'll be alright. We're doing a longer hike tomorrow ๐

Hiked down to Havasupai Falls in college with an 80 lb pack in college....wrecked my knees due to being all downhill.
On the hike out it was only 35lb pack since we ate most of the food. Ironically was way easier uphill. Got to the switchbacks and took off sprinting.
Don't think I could make that hike today with a 10lb pack. Father Time is undefeated
Im pretty good at rucking a 10- 15 lbs weighted vest for a couple miles at sea level. But at this altitude, im a baby back bitch.
