That's a logical fallacy. In this fiat world, we don't really have division of labor. The massive fiat plunder is basically bringing us back to the stone age. You could divide the world right now between people that have a lot of different non-specialized skills (I.e. cavemen) and the people that are basically spoiled brats (i.e. the lemmings). Putting the argument that Nostr doesn't work because it doesn't have diversity is nonsense because we didn't even have true diversity as a civilization.

there's a seemingly growing number of people who also think this (or maybe I've just grown my echo chamber on here lol). Would be sad if nostr was just a bitcoin telegram group with bells and whistles. But I am also a little hopeful, The ability to make subreddit-like groups and clients that cater to this is growing and hopefully will continue and improve. There is already one such group which has migrated here and the hopefully more follow. This allows bit of detachment from the 'stack sats and stay humble' spam, which nostr can often feel like. (Your feed / follow curation here is somewhat needed if you want it to be other than bitcoin twitter / bitcoin slogans. And clients don't really help a new user such as this with their recommended follows tbh.) I also see some hope in awareness of nostr (struggling not to say 'brand recognition' lol), I can see people, content creators especially, listing nostr as a safety follow. A 'just in case my main social platform gets nuked' -type deal, in a similar way to youtubers recommending Rumble / Rokfin / bitchute. Perhaps a bit of marketing is needed here.

But the fact is that there is no forced coupling at the protocol level, if ethereum wants or Fiat companies want they can easily integrate into nostr.

a major hurdle is inability to link to notes using URL address. if you see a banger note best you can do is screen shot it, but then nobody knows it was from NOSTR. whereas on any other platform you can link directly to the Tweet etc. 90% of the time people screen shot it anyway, but that 10% of the time when the Tweet gets directly embedded into a page and you can just click on it and be taken to Twitter and then Twitter will algorithmically suggest similar tweets for you and so on. the point is NOSTR can't compete with big-tech directly. instead it should focus on on its strength - which is resilience / resistance to censorship. for that it must attract those who are most persecuted, which is anti-semites like Kanye West. but nostriches find antisemites icky and instead try to bring other bitcoiners in ... but bitcoiners aren't persecuted ... nobody is getting banned or cancelled for being a bitcoin evangelist from any big-tech platform, so why should they come here ? they shouldn't. and thus we end up with a situation where when you sign up you get a suggested list of people to follow and every one of them is a bitcoiner software developer and anybody who isn't feels out of place here. one stupid whore went so far as to refer to us ( people who aren't bitcoiners / software developers ) as NPCs. yes bitch, that's how you attract people. dumb whore. not everybody's idea of free speech is trying to sell their holes to the highest bidder by gold digging in places where capital has accumulated. this bitch should be sent to Saudi Arabia and get stoned to death there for whoring, that would teach her some respect.
