I think birthdays should be celebrated and it honestly annoys me a bit when people want to mask their age and view getting older negatively. Not everyone gets to get older, so we should celebrate it and be grateful.
It makes sense to not think about the future that much when we're younger and it feels like we're doing the requisite of life that everyone has to go through (education). But once we graduate and have a universe full of options and different paths to take in life, we turn our attention and mind to the future.
New decades are fun too, I just joined the 30 club earlier this year. We await you 🫡🫂
