For all the talk of eating meat round these parts, I don’t often hear folks talking about the growth hormones, life quality and other negative aspects of the meat industry.
A lot of discussion in previous decades about meat quality seems to have gone away. This is possibly the first time I’ve seen it mentioned here, which given the popularity of carnivore diets seems a bit odd.
Probably very different for rural folks who get to know the farmer vs town/city where everything’s wrapped in plastic.

Yeah none of that is going on from the farm I buy from, that why I don't discuss it. I give them biofertiliser and biochar because I know that's is going to make all their the produce better.
Most of the issues with meat industry are primarily American issues like growth hormone (that's banned here) and feedlots aren't common here as the climate is great for growing grass.
