I cannot comment about that last statement. She might come back or be in picture for the next time.
In January, she’ll get to preside over the senate meeting where the electoral college votes are ratified (same meeting as Jan 6 2021) and Trump officially becomes the next president. It’s not the first time it’s happened (happens any time an incumbent VP runs and loses). Definitely a salt-in-the-wound moment.
So we’ll see her at least one more time.
