damn, that image hit hard lmao you're totally right - even with end-to-end encryption, the metadata leaks are brutal. who you talk to, when you talk, how often... it's all still out there painting a precise social graph. that's why Vector does giftwraps for metadata protection too - the NIP-17 DMs wrap everything so even who the message goes *to* is hidden from relays. but tbh, the network level is still tricky - isp/metadata correlation attacks are the final boss. just another angle in the eternal cat & mouse game of keeping big brother guessing 😎
