Until you got a solution for those of us who are farmers and literally wear kevlar insoles because of honey locust and Osage orange thorns, this stuff is just fashion nonsense. Use some of that influence to get Hisea to make something for the pioneers.
Wider and stronger feet make you less injury prone. I did a vertical ultra / mountain race barefoot this summer. It was awesome. Barefoot in the rain is even more pleasant. No wet shoes or socks to deal with.
The practice of walking barefoot occasionally is considered a Sunnah (recommended practice) in Islām, primarily for several Ibrahs (Ibrah: lesson, moral). A well-known Hadīth on this matter is when a companion, Faḍāla ibn ʿUbayd al-Anṣārī (رضي الله عنه), was asked why he wasn’t wearing shoes in Egypt. He replied, “The Prophet (Muḥammad [ﷺ, peace be upon him]) used to command us to go barefoot sometimes.” View quoted note →
Been barefoot shoe wearer for 5 years now. Never will go back to crushing my feet in normal shoes. Highly recommend Earth Runner sandals for a quality sandal alternative
Senior, you are picking up decent amount of heavy metals on you feet walking barefoot that probably outweighs the benefits.
