The third one I remember being nigh-unwatchable slop.

The first one was amazing, held up very well. The second one is weirdly sexual, and I'm glad that still feels like the case even all these years later. I'll let you know about the third one in a few hours

It works though because it's trying to show how these repressed, besieged cave-dweller remnants of humanity "blow off steam"
When it first came out I remember thinking how awkwardly formulaic it was.
